Its been on a 21km a day School contract that now requires a vehicle no older than 10 years.
The last few months we have been using her as a driver transport vehicle.
Very reliable, she has never failed to start and doesnt use oil/water or loose battery power.
It does have a grill for the front its just on the day the pictures were taken the fitter was putting a new water pump on as the old one was weaping a bit.
Will also be sold with what ever diesel is left in it, we are still using it as a run about but at this time is nearly full!!!
The bad points, shes an old girl, well used so dont expect a new bus! typical merc had lots of welding including all new o/s/r inner wheel arch. in the last 10 months Ive spent nearly £2000 on her. Currently on a class 5 MOT it has been inspected ready for its PSV MOT and i'm told it needs the Tacho re seal (£46 at VOLVO) and a small bit of welding on the o/s/r corner. This didnt affect the class 5 MOT so cant be that bad! Theres a small split in the floor and a few bits could co with tidying up here and there. The paint job isnt bad but as it wasnt done profesionally the back doors have gone a bit matt, prob do with a good t cut.
